Vacations in Jamaica

Update :
We finaly decided to stay on the northern part of the island after a bit of (rough) jamaican driving :P, so we drove from Long Bay to Negril via Ocho Rios and Montego Bay. No driving through the Blue Mountains, Kingston and Mandeville.
After spending a few days in Orlando, FL I’ll be leaving to Jamaica with Kristy (a.k.a. Goober) for a week :D. Here’s the preliminary schedule:
- 12 Apr (Wed) :
Arriving from Miami in Montego Bay at 11:38 AM
Driving to Falmouth and beach time!
Lodging : Time N Place - 13 Apr (Thu) :
Cockpit country hike in the morning.
Driving to Ocho Rios and staying around there.
Dep. on time checking out Dunns Falls in the afternoon or the next morning
Lodging : Hotel Jamaican Colors - 14 Apr (Fri) :
Early wake up and drinving to Long Beach
Hanging around Long Beach (See 15 for details)
Lodging : Hotel Jamaican Colors - 15 Apr (Sat) :
Hanging around Long Beach :
Ross Craig Beach, Long Bay Beach, Boston Beach, Winifred Beach, San San Beach, Blue Lagoon, Reich fall’s, Port Antonio, Somerset falls, Bath fountain, Frenchman’s Cove…
Lodging : Hotel Jamaican Colors - 16 Apr (Sun) :
Road trip day, VERY early wake up :p and driving to Kingston through the blue mountains (maybe befor sunrise?).
Driving to Black River and stopping to see YS Falls
Driving to Negril.
Lodging : staying in Lover’s Rock cottage at Heartbeat resort in Negril - 17 Apr (Mon) :
Hanging around Negril
Seven miles beach, Negril Cliffs, Negril Lighthouse, Mayfield Falls, Royal Palm Reserve, Horseback Riding, Rick’s Cafe…
Lodging : staying in Lover’s Rock cottage at Heartbeat resort in Negril - 18 Apr (Tue) :
Hanging around Negril
Scuba Diving ?
Lodging : staying in Lover’s Rock cottage at Heartbeat resort in Negril - 19 Apr (Mon) :
Spending the morning in Mo Bay.
Taking the plane back to Boston (via Miami) at 3:40 PM

Hi Annah-Li,
I can only say good things about Hotel Jamaican Color. It was a quite place and the owners (a French family) was very nice. They helped us organized anything we wanted to do, they always had good advice and were very helpful.
The place itself is gorgeous and calm, with great views on the rocky coast line. Unfortunately the little beach close to the hotel is not the best (the sea was rough when we were there) but there are tons of very nice beaches a short drive away.
